The Enterprise Academy was founded by Peter Jones CBE, of Dragons Den fame, in 2008 to nurture young entrepreneurial talent through further education, where young people can develop their business skills with the aim of setting up their own business or work for another company/organisation.

NHC are pleased to have opened the Peter Jones Enterprise Academy at our Enterprise centre in Hitchin. Offering the BTEC level 2 Diploma in Understanding Enterprise and Entrepreneurship along with the BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Enterprise and Entrepreneurship.

Local jewellery designer and ex NHC student, Alyssa Smith, is the Enterprise Academy’s Entrepreneur in Residence. Alyssa will be on hand to mentor students with their business ideas, drawing from her own experience of starting her own online jewellery design business.
